OMG! OMG! OMG!

As in OH MY GOD!

Can you guys believe this?

I'm already at the office at 7:30 a.m. Without my dad's help. With my own car. With no bumps. I'm so proud to say that I have driven myself to work all on my own, all the way from Tagig to our building's parking, all safe and sound!

Since I received the company car last week, we have employed a driver to go with me and teach me while I'm still getting used to driving the streets of Manila and becoming familiar with the road, the rules, and all that. Our official practice started this morning. The agreement was that I would only drive until the Fort which is not very far from our house and where it is relatively clear, just for the new driver to see my performance. Then, come Ayala, I would hand the wheel over to him. But I guess I'm not as bad as I think I am. And driving is not as hard as it first seemed. I managed to complete the journey.

This may be a very small thing for some people, but it's my first time. So pardon the elation. I'm just really exhilarated!
