Father's Day is a happy celebration for our family. We go out. We spend lots of time together. We show daddy our love and appreciation for him. Especially me. I'm a daddy's girl and I'm daddy's favorite.

However, this Father's Day was different.

My dad was sick and I mean sick as in bedridden. I don't want to admit it but I think the long years of working hard has finally taken its toll on his body. He didn't even take much notice of our presents for him. I bought my dad a cake that I had specially designed. It's shaped like a medal and inside is an inscription that goes "World's Best Dad!" I even threw in a dozen of cute cupcakes - assorted beehive, choco, and rainbow cupcakes. As colorful, as happy, and as sweet as the presents were, they didn't make him smile. He was in too much pain to be able to appreciate them.

To be honest, I am scared. I really hope that this is just a regular case of stress and fever. I do not know what to do in the event that something bad happens to my dad. I love my dad so much and just thinking that yesterday may possibly be the last Father's Day we celebrate makes me wanna cry.
