I have just discovered a fun activity, painting pants!!!

It all started when I cleaned my closet and found some paint-blotched pants. Those were the pants I used when we painted the set of Bye Bye Birdie for BlueRep. I thought that since the pants had paint on them anyway and the paint was just everywhere, why not paint it on purpose, like put a design and make it fashionable?

So I did just that. I got my left-over paint set from Production Design class and I rubbed paint on my hands. Then I pressed my hands on the pants. I put red, orange, blue, yellow, and green palm designs. It's sort of a 'hands everywhere' rugged look. It's just the drying that's taking long. But I am happy with my creation. My pants now look funky! And doing it was so much fun. I had colorful hands!!! I also used the hands of my brother for a variation of hand-size. We were putting paint on each other while doing it. That was fun bonding. The best of all, it's an excuse to get dirty, but cool dirty. Hehe...

I suggest you try doing something like this with your old or plain pants and shirts. It'll not only put some spunk into your clothes but it would also be a good use of your time and creativity.
